MyPhotoClub is the creation of Colin Woods. I live in Nords Wharf, Lake Macquarie, NSW Australia.
To further my re-emerging interest in photography I joined the local photography club, Belmont 16s Photography Club.
As I am an IT professional I offered to help out with the club website and saw how involved and time-consuming managing monthly club competitions were. After putting some improvements into the existing website, a first version of MyPhotoClub emerged. This gained interest from surrounding clubs and the Maitland International Salon.
Development then began on a network-style solution where one account and feature set can be used by multiple clubs and competitions. The MyPhotoclub network started up in 2016.
MyPhotoClub now provides services to:
- more than 30 clubs with over a thousand members
- all competition services for the Australian Photographic Society.
- several international competitions with PSA & FIAP recognition
- interclub & individual competitions for several regional and state bodies.
