This page describes an entrants’ view of an exhibition.
Entrant – entry process
To successfully enter a competition the entrant is guided through these steps:
- Signs into or register an account with MyPhotoClub
- This one account is used for all interactions with MyPhotoClub sites.
- Enters and confirms contact details
- Accepts all conditions of entry
- can include additional charges such as print return
- Uploads an image file
- upload is checked to conform with size and pixel dimensions
- persons who are a member of a camera club using MyPhotoClub can nominate previously uploaded images.
- Enters the title and nominate the section to be entered
- Only available sections can be chosen
- Steps 4 & 5 repeated for each entry
- For print competitions labels are printed
- Payment is made through PayPal
Entrant – entry changes & print labels
Once all entries are uploaded the entrant can change their entry by returning to the entry form. For Print competitions labels are generated for each entry and forwarding and return mailing labels.
Entrant – entry acknowledgement
20 minutes after the last uploaded image an acknowledgement letter is sent.
Entrant – results message or score-card
A link on the results message allows the entrant to generate an award certificate for all entries that achieve an acceptance or higher.
Entrant & General Public – View online galleries, Acceptance lists and catalogue
When the results are published this page will be available where a low-resolution image of each accepted and awarded entry can be viewed in a gallery. The acceptance list and catalogue are also generated.
The entrant can also request a copy of their results/score card & award certificate.
Entrant – ongoing communication
Each entrant will be informed of upcoming MyPhotoClub competitions that are relevant to them on a monthly basis.
When the competition is rerun the entrant can be messaged.
